There was a new girl in skool today. Dib noticed her right off. She was a tiny thing, skinny with a kind of grace to it. Her hair was simple, short and reddish brown. From a distance her eyes looked dark blue, but closer up they had tints of green and gray. Gwenevere Dib couldn’t stop glancing at her. Happeh New Year.

Holy crap. It's 2009 already. Lots of new stuff coming up. Lots of old stuff that I'm going to be happy to leave behind. Last year feels like so long ago.I don't even remember half of it. This year, I hope...I think...it will be a good year. Resolutions? Well, eat a little less, I suppose. Stop becoming obbsssed with people that will break my heart. To be more honest with myself and others. To focus on homework and grades, I don't want to flunk high school.
